Specialty Food Items
We keep ourselves very busy around here but do find time to make a few specialty food items ourselves. Laurey makes Cranberry Chutney each fall and, in the heat of the summer when berries are ripe, she makes Blackberry and Blueberry jam, using locally-grown fruit. Each year new items are added to the list.
We also make pickles. At the moment we have two different kinds of pickles: an old-fashioned dill pickle and a spicy bread and butter pickle. The cucumbers for the pickles are grown right around here, making them extra special.
