Welcome to Laurey’s!

We’ve been operating in the heart of downtown since 1990, serving “casual, gourmet comfort food” made with as many local ingredients as are available.  In many cases we know the farmers and their farms – a point that is very important to us.

Laurey grew up in Vermont, the youngest daughter of Elsie and John Masterton, founders of The Blueberry Hill Inn and authors of The Blueberry Hill Cookbooks.

Laurey’s is consistently selected as the favorite in “best of” polls.

*Most recently voted #1 in Mountain Xpress "Best Caterer in Asheville" for 2013 (4th year straight!).*

We recycle and compost everything possible and try to conduct our business in the most sustainable, environmentally-conscious way possible.

Laurey and the Laurey’s Team are active in the Chefs Move to Schools initiative.  
Laurey serves on the Board of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs and is also active with Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Projects, and The Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.
